Privacy Policy
Effective July 16, 2026 · Last updated July 16, 2026
What you bring to Unstuck Faith is deeply personal. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the Unstuck Faith app and website collect, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we treat your prayers and journals as highly sensitive, and we never sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Unstuck Faith mobile app for iOS and Android and to the website at www.unstuck-faith.com, both operated by Walker Apps LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It describes our practices for the personal information we handle when you use the app or visit the website. Payments are handled by Apple and Google under their own terms, and this policy explains what we receive from them.
2. Information you provide
The app is built local-first. You can use it with your data stored only on your device. If you choose to enable cloud sync, some of the information below is stored in our cloud backend so it can follow you across devices.
- Account information. If you create an account for cloud sync, we collect your email address and a password. Authentication is handled by Supabase, and we never see or store your password in plain text.
- Profile information. A display name, if you choose to set one.
- Spiritual content. Journal entries, prayers, reflections, conversations with the Guide, and notes you write in the app. This is the most sensitive information we handle, and Section 5 explains how we treat it.
- Saved Scripture content. Verses you save, highlights, and the notes attached to them.
- Spiritual preferences. Settings such as your preferred Bible translation and your daily rhythm choices.
- Support communications. If you email us or submit a form on the website, we receive what you send, along with your email address so we can reply.
3. Information collected automatically
A small amount of information is collected as a side effect of the app working:
- Device and diagnostic basics. General device information, such as the operating system and app version, and basic records of app activity needed to operate the service and troubleshoot problems.
- Practice usage. Records of which daily practices you have used, so the app can keep your place and reflect your rhythm.
- Notification tokens. If you turn on notifications, your device issues a token that lets us deliver them. Turning notifications off removes this.
- Subscription status. Apple and Google tell us whether your subscription is active so the app can unlock what you have paid for. We never receive your card number or other payment details.
The website itself sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
4. How we use information
- To operate and personalize the app — syncing your content when cloud sync is on, remembering your preferences, and shaping your daily experience around the rhythm you choose.
- For security and abuse prevention — protecting accounts, detecting misuse, and keeping the service reliable.
- To communicate with you — answering support requests and sending service messages about your account or important changes.
- For legal compliance — meeting our obligations under applicable law and responding to lawful requests when required.
5. How your content stays private
Prayers, journal entries, reflections, spiritual struggles, and your conversations with the Guide are not ordinary data. We treat them as highly sensitive content. They exist in the app for one purpose: your own walk with God.
In local mode, this content stays on your device. With cloud sync enabled, it is stored in our database so it can reach your other devices, protected by access controls that restrict each account to its own content. We do not read your content in the ordinary course of business, do not use it for advertising, and do not sell it — ever. Limited access may occur only when strictly necessary, such as when you ask us for help with a specific problem or when the law requires it.
6. Service providers
A small number of providers help us run the service. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — authentication and the database that stores your account and synced content when cloud sync is enabled.
- Vercel — hosting for the website.
- Apple and Google — app distribution and all billing. Purchases and subscriptions run entirely through the App Store and Google Play.
- Resend — delivery of messages you submit through website forms, so they reach our inbox.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting vendors.
7. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your information for targeted advertising.
- We do not show ads in the app or on the website.
- We do not use your spiritual content for any purpose other than serving you.
8. Data retention
We keep your account information and synced content for as long as your account is active, so the app keeps working for you. If you delete your account, we delete the associated personal information, except where a short additional period is needed for backups to cycle out or where the law requires us to keep specific records. Content stored only on your device in local mode is under your control and is removed when you delete the app or its data.
9. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and data at any time. Visit our account deletion page for step-by-step instructions. Deletion requests made inside the app and requests emailed to privacy@unstuck-faith.com are honored the same way.
10. Security and its limits
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls that limit each account to its own data. Our Security overview describes these measures in plain language. That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. We ask you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your device protected.
11. International processing
We are based in United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your region. By using the app or website, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Children’s privacy
Unstuck Faith is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact privacy@unstuck-faith.com.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, and object to or restrict certain processing.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
Residents of the EEA and the UK may have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@unstuck-faith.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will give you clearer notice, such as a message in the app or an email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies.
15. Contact
